When I was planning my trip to San Francisco back in March, eating alone was the thing I was most nervous about.

Having read this, I might make more of an effort to check out some of the new restaurants in my neighborhood on my own this summer.

One thing I will say: When I was at Greens in SF, I found myself wondering if I would have enjoyed the meal more if I’d been able to talk about how much I was enjoying the meal. I can’t tell if that’s ridiculous, insecure, or an insightful observation into how I perceive things, but there you have it.
